⭐️Student Spotlight⭐️

Evelyn Roberts

It doesnt get much better than this; hard working, disciplined and versatile.

There wasn’t much that Evelyn didnt achieve in her time at Gail Meade and she continued to grow at WAAPA. Just to name a few achievements.
Betty Tilley Championship Winner
Joan Stacey Scholarship (2013 – 2015)
Linley Wilson Scholarship (2016 – 2017)
WA representative for the RAD Bursary in 2013
Attained the prestigious RAD Solo Seal in 2015 Recipient of the ECU Paulette Carson Scholarship in 2017
However, her greatest achievement:
Being 1 of 12 Finalists at the Genée International Ballet Competition in 2016.

Evelyn toured Europe taking company classes and attended the ART of Summer Intensive Zurich 2017, learning from many choreographers and company directors.

Evelyn was has been a part of the WA Ballet Education Team since 2018 and was the rehearsal director for children for WA Ballet’s season of Alice in Wonderland.

Evelyn today mentors students using her wealth of knowledge and expertise.

GMPAC is celebrating 55 years of Dance🤍 To celebrate we will be recapping GMPAC success stories from over the years✨

🌟Student Highlight🌟
Jessie Sue Steyntjes was destined for success receiving 100% in two RAD exams and multiple Scholarships throughout her training.
In 2008 she was accepted into Salzburg Ballet Company where she excelled as a diverse performer exhibiting her acrobatic skills in classical pieces.
Now a Mum , she is completing her RAD qualifications to pass on her knowledge and passion for Dance🩰
