Congratulations to our successful RAD students with 66 entries from Primary up to Advanced 1. The studio received excellent results with 82% of students receiving Distinctions. The teachers were proud of the work ethic of the students with a majority of the work taught in zoom class during isolation.
Congratulations to Miss Meade on being the 2018 recipient of the Australian Independent Dance Teacher Awards (AIDTA) “Lifetime Achievement Award”. The award ceremony will be held on Friday 9th March at John Curtin Performing Arts Centre. The event starts at 6.30pm. We were notified by the organisers that Miss Meade was the winner, due to receiving the highest amount of votes from teachers, peers, students and parents from throughout the Australian dance world. Our senior student, Samantha Elliott was invited to audition for 2018 Performing Arts Perspectives in April. Perspectives is an important educational event and works chosen provide a benchmark of excellence in dance, drama and music for students and teachers from the Public, Independent and Catholic education systems. Only the highest achievers from the WACE Practical Dance exam are invited to audition. We are very proud to announce that Samantha will be performing in the 2018 Performing Arts Perspectives, to be held at The Perth Concert Hall. Well done Samantha!
Congratulations to all the students of the Gail Meade PAC who successfully entered their CSTD Jazz, Tap, Major Ballet & Public Exams. The outstanding results are a credit to the dedicated teachers. We would like to congratulate all our students on their achievements and the parents of the Gail Meade PAC for their ongoing support. The studio received 86 Honours Plus (over 95%) and 110 Honours (85% – 95%).
